If you have the pleasure to meet Hector Peña, his passion for music is immediately evident. The sound that emanates from the electric guitars that he crafts from cigar boxes, is literally music to the ear. While planning his opening at La Local Loca Gallery in Old Town, Albuquerque, Hector came up with the idea to have it coincide with Saint Cecilia Day on November 22nd. He wanted this show to be a tribute to the patron saint of music, who has so clearly blessed him with his talent for creating instruments that both look and sound beautiful and unique.
